Antonov An-124 Chartering
July has been a busy but exciting month for us here at Tudor International Freight.
Andrew Orrell, our Project Logistics Manager, had the pleasure of sitting in as a passenger on one of the colossal Antonov An-124s. Our company has chartered three of these unique aircrafts throughout the month of July to complete shipments from Brazil to Scotland.
The Antonov An-124 is the king of air freight carriers in the logistics world but if you do happen to be unfamiliar with the plane, you can read all about the impressive ins and outs here.
Now, back to what we’ve actually been doing.
Aside from flying around on the Antonov, our team also met up with some of our partners who are leading an incredible project over in Brazil.
Since 2010, they have been carrying out a tree planting mission which involves planting one tree for every customer of theirs throughout the month of June.
This year they have reached a record total of over 5,000 customers, which means over 5,000 new trees have been planted in and around South America. We here at Tudor International Freight are honoured to be a part of this brilliant environmentally-friendly campaign and look forward to being involved in even more over the next few years. Here’s to the next 5,000.
