Adam picked up the top prize at the Global Freight Awards which took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Thursday 16th November.
The Young Freight Forwarder Award is selected by a panel of judges following the submission of a reference and written statement from Adam and his line manager. This year the judges included Beverley Bell, Senior Traffic Commissioner for the north west of England, Robert Keen, Director General of the British International Freight Association (BIFA) and Linton Nightingale, Deputy Edition at Lloyd’s List Containers.
The black tie event, billed as the biggest night of the year for the UK freight forwarding community, was hosted by stand-up comedian Rob Beckett.
Other winners on the night include Hamburg Sud who won Sea Freight Solutions Provider of the Year, DHL who won Express Operator of the Year and Grimaldi Lines who won Ro Ro Line of the Year. A full list of the Global Freight Awards winners can be found here.
