    • China Restricts Hazardous Cargo
Chinese ports have stepped up restrictions on the transportation of hazardous goods at their facilities.

Due to the recent deadly explosions which took place within a container storage facility at the Chinese port of Tianjin, the local and national authorities have introduced stringent new rules and regulations.

The port of Ningbo will now request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) in advance of accepting any hazardous goods, whist the port of Xiamen has followed Tianjin in ceasing to load or discharge hazardous cargo altogether.

    Hazardous Cargo to China

Most major Chinese ports have been effected including Qingdao, Shanghai, Yangzhou, Jinzhou, Fuzhou, Lianyungang and Yantai.

Please check that your shipment will be accepted in advance.
